Ir. Soon SL graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from University of Malaya in 1980. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the Elevator Industry ranging from Sales and Marketing to Design and Planning to Project Implementation and Management. He served as the Managing Director of a Major Leading International Elevator company in Malaysia. Ir. Soon is a Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia and a member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia. He is also involved with the development of Codes and Standards for Malaysia and is a member of the Working Group on Lifts and Escalators in SIRIM, Malaysia. Ir. Soon is a Past President of the Malaysian Lift and Escalator Association (MALEA). He is also a Certified Professional Trainer and a member of IPMA (UK). Ir. Soon is always passionate about sharing his experiences acquired over these years both as an Engineer as well as his Sales, Training and Management experiences and is the author of the book, “BUILD THE BRIDGE FIRST”, an Inspiring Story On How To Build Great Relationships With Co-workers & Customers And Lead Your Team In Ways You Never Thought Possible.
